Depuis 1976, les pastilles Rendez Vous sont les bonbons phares de la Société Industrielle de Confiserie (SIC), qui s’appelle dorénavant Nice Bonbon.
Cet établissement français s’est érigé en expert de la dragéification. C’est une technique de fabrication, permettant de créer ces pastilles dures à sucer à partir de gomme arabique (ou d’acacia), une sève végétale.
Ces pastilles, ou dragées, sont des bonbons sans sucre, rendus suaves par des ingrédients alternatifs comme le sorbitol et le sucralose qui ont un impact nul sur l’organisme. Tout le monde peut en manger quels que soient ses problèmes de santé (dents, poids, diabète). Des extraits naturels de citron et de menthe sont ajoutés à la préparation pour lui accorder cette fraicheur si caractéristique des pastilles Rendez Vous.
