Les bonbons au coquelicot sont des confiseries traditionnelles.

L’origine des bonbons aux coquelicots, issus de la ville de Nemours, remonte aux années 1850.

À l’origine utilisés pour soulager la toux en raison des propriétés apaisantes du coquelicot, ces bonbons ont connu un essor remarquable à partir de 1870, lorsqu’un confiseur décida de les transformer en une confiserie plaisante.
